Tatton Park

We took George to Tatton Park last week. We had our picnic when we arrived, which George enjoyed. He couldn't wait to have a go on all the things in the playground though. Here he is on a rocking bike. After he had played for a while, we took a stroll around the fabulous gardens. here is George trying to catch a fish in the lake. As he was using an unbaited twig, his success rate wasn't good.
It was "Grow your Own" week too, so we came home with a pot of soil and a pumpkin seed. George has announced that he will be growing his own "punkin" for hallow'een this year. He also asked to plant some more seeds in the garden, so he's planted a tub of lettuce as that generally makes an appearance quite quickly. There's no danger of him eating it, but he'll be so proud when the seeds start growing.

  2. That sounds pretty good! I have always wanted to try my hand at gardening, but seeing as I have very little follow through, I am not so sure its a good idea! Good Luck to you and George. I am not sure I have told you this before but I actually have 4 George's in my life. My Pops, My Father in Law, My Husband and my Son. It is a wonderful name for a young boy!
